CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Canton police are hoping to identify a suspect in a Monday afternoon shooting on Gonder Avenue near 13th Street SE.
19-year-old Xavion Townsend of Canton was discovered crawling in a discount store parking lot; he had been shot in the stomach.
Witnesses say the shooter was wearing a camouflage ski mask and wore black clothing.
Townsend was stable.
No word on a possible motive.
